LOCATION

 

Where is the hotel located?

The hotel is located at Royal Victoria Docks, near the ExCel Centre.

Our postcode address is: Royal Victoria Dock, London, E16 1AA

 

What is the nearest train station?

The closes DLR station is Custom House Excel, which is a short 2 min walk from the yacht

 

How far is the hotel from Central London?

We are located 30 minutes by public transport from London Bridge.

 

CHECK-IN

 

When can I check in to the hotel?

You can check in from 15:00. If you arrive earlier, you can store your baggage in the hotel’s baggage area until your room is ready. If the room has been cleaned and is ready before 15:00, you may have access to the room earlier.

 

CHECK-OUT

 

When do I have to check out of the hotel?

The room is yours until 11:00 on your day of departure. If you wish to check out later than 11:00, please contact reception. Please be aware of our additional charge for late check-out.

 

Which debit/credit cards can I use?

You can pay with the same cards that are accepted at reception; Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Diners.

 

What should I do if I have not received my receipt by e-mail?

If you have not received a receipt for your stay via e-mail, you must contact the hotel by e-mail or telephone. Contact information for the hotel can be found on the hotel website.

Monday to Sunday – 12:30hrs to 16:30hrs

Monday to Sunday – 17:00hrs to 22:00hrs

Monday to Sunday – 12:00hrs to 22:00hrs

We offer room service for the times below. Please be advised that there is an additional tray charge applied to all room service orders.

PARKING            

 

Does the hotel have a car park?

The hotel does not have a car park. Only a few blue badge holder spaces. Blue badge holder spaces are limited, and they are on a first come first serve basis.

 

Can I park outside the hotel?

Only blue badge holders can park outside, in the designated bays, in they are available.

 

Where is the nearest car park?

The nearest car park is located at the ExCeL Exhibition Centre, which is a 2 min walk away from our hotel. All onsite parking is pay and display, with the exception of the Royal Victoria multi-storey car park, which is located at the West end of the site. Parking in the Royal Victoria multi-storey car park can be paid for at one of the three pay points located within the car park at the end of your visit (the machines are located on level two and level zero and all machines accept both cash and credit card). Parking across these locations is £20 for up to 24 hours. This tariff is applicable for the following locations – Royal Victoria multi-storey car park, Under-croft parking (Orange and Purple) and the East Car Park.

Do we need to wear a mask at the hotel?

Yes, masks are mandatory in all public places, you can take off your mask when you are seated in the restaurant or bar area.

 

How many people can gather in the room and in the public area?

For family rooms it is up to 2 adults and 2 children. For other rooms it is 2 people in the room. Due to government guidelines we can accommodate up to 6 people in our restaurant and bar area.

 

What happens if London goes into lockdown?

If the hotel must close due to UK Government guidelines, we will be happy to offer a date change or a full refund. If the government closes down the restaurants and bars, we will have an extensive room service menu available for you to enjoy.

 

What happens if the area where I live goes into lockdown?

We will do everything in our power to move your booking to suitable date for you.

 

Facilities that are available in the hotel

We have Sundown Bar and Land End Restaurant available for you to enjoy with some amazing views of the O2 and Canary Warf Skyline.

 

Facilities that are not available in the hotel

Our sister yacht in Gibraltar has a swimming pool and the casino available on board, unfortunately we do not have these facilities available in London.

Dear Guests,

Following recent Government’s announcement, Sunborn London will stay open to only accommodate guest travelling for work, education or other exempt reasons outlined by the Government. The hotel will be closed to leisure guests at least until the 17th May 2021.

For all guests who require accommodation due to exempt reasons please contact reservations@sunbornlondon.com to make a booking, please be advised we will only be offering continental ‘Grab & Go’ breakfast as our Lands End restaurant and Sundown bar will be closed.
